Barre Instructor Olivia Sullivan
  • Owner, Lead Instructor

    Olivia is a fourth generation Montanan from Kalispell and has been a Bozeman resident for the last 14 years. She received an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Education from Montana State University and has been a certified barre instructor since 2018. Olivia has taught in-studio and private barre classes to a variety of clients and companies in the greater Gallatin Valley, in addition to her other full-time profession of being a high school counselor for eight years. Eager to build a brand where her passion for mental health meets music and movement, Olivia opened Sōl Barre Studio.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    Barre has always been my personal place of movement, joy, and connection. I wanted others to find a local fitness community where they feel supported, empowered and encouraged as well. Our authentic instructors will challenge and inspire you through positive energy. Our space allows you to recharge from the daily hustle and reconnect with yourself and others - this hour is truly for you! Get lost in the music and mindful movement with the best community around.

    All about that beat baby. Kygo, Arizona, Arty, Loud Luxury, you get the picture!

    Chair. All. Day. & Semi-Push Up!

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    Any chance I get, I’m opting outside with husband, Tanner, our one year old son, Jackson, and our golden retriever, Ruby. I love getting brunch at Farmer's Daughter Café, spending time gardening, traveling, watching football every Sunday, and I’m a sucker for a good nap.

Barre Instructor Krista Dicomitis
  • Lead Instructor

    Krista is a born and raised Montana girl with a deep love for her Bozeman community. She received an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and masters degree in Public Administration, both from Montana State University (Go cats go!) She is passionate about her full-time job working for HRDC and also teaches as an adjunct faculty member at MSU for public speaking. As a certified fitness instructor for nearly 10 years, Krista has experience teaching multiple formats, but barre has always been her favorite to both teach and take.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    I love that Sōl is truly accessible for anybody and any body. Plus our Sōl community members are unlike any other. They are dedicated, supportive of one other and constantly show up wholeheartedly. They are THE best!

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    I could never pick just one, but The Chainsmokers, Sigala and David Guetta almost always make the cut.

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    Chair from morning 'til night and an even tie between side L and pretzel

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    I spend all my spare time eating, trail running across the valley, playing cards with friends and watching football. I take any opportunity to get outside whether that's to ski, fish, hike or camp.

    Born and raised in Montana, Noel grew up in Billings and came to MSU in 2003 to study photography. While earning her bachelor's degree, she met the love of her life, who is an engineer for a local firm in town. After being a catering manager at MSU, a Health Insurance Agent, and a Wedding/Portrait Photographer, they had their first baby, and she's been a stay-at-home mom since. They have been blessed with 4 beautiful babies, whom she now homeschools, and feel fortunate to be surrounded by family and an awesome community in Bozeman.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    ​​The thing I love most about Sōl is definitely the community. I immediately feel welcomed as soon as I walk in the doors, and I hope to help create that same atmosphere for others also.

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    Honestly, my go-to artist is any music with a strong beat and fun to move to.

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    Favorite thigh exercise is Waterski or Chair, and favorite seat is Fetal!

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    When not doing barre, I love to get outside and garden, run, hike, and cross country ski with family.

  • Lead Instructor

    Cheri Dyk is a Montana native from Corvallis who loves the outdoors and Bozeman. She has resided in Bozeman for the last 8 years with her husband and two children. She graduated from Portland State with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design landing herself a job at Jantzen Swim designing swimsuits. Upon moving back to Montana she discovered her love of fitness and has been instructing group fitness classes since 2016. She has had professional training and certifications in group fitness, barre connect, The Bar Method and Pilates. To teach and connect with clients is what brings her the most joy!

    What do you love about Sōl?
    Sōl has created the perfect environment to teach the things I love the most, a combination of interval training, dance technique and physical therapy. My favorite part of Sōl is the strength of the community that's developing.

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    I’m a sucker for Fleetwood Mac, but give me the perfect tempo to take it down an inch, up an inch, and I'm a happy camper!

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    Wide Second & Pretzel (hello 2-fer’s!!)

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    When I’m not in the studio you’ll find me painting, watching my son play soccer, camping with my daughter’s scout troop, hiking with my family, and cooking some darn good food.

    Rosie Burke is currently a junior at Montana State University. She was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana and graduated from CMR high school. She is studying elementary education at MSU in hopes of becoming an elementary teacher. Rosie also works at MacKenzie River, so make sure to say hello if you see her there! Fun fact, Emery is actually her real name.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    Rosie loves that Sōl is such a welcoming environment. Everyone there is so kind and she loves the positivity. She enjoys feeling comfortable while moving her body and feels good after each and every workout. Rosie is so happy to have such amazing people to work with at Sōl. They make it the best place to be!

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    T-Swift is the ultimate shake-to artist.

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    Knee dancing gives her the best burn ever. Standing straight leg is the best seat.

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    Rosie loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys watching movies, taking naps in her free time, watching MSU sporting events and attending church on Sundays in her free time. Rosie absolutely loves baked goods. If you were to make some and bring them in to her, she would be a very happy gal.

    Originally from the DC area, Emily received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Criminology and Criminal Justice and a masters in School Counseling from the University of Maryland. She was drawn to Montana and settled in Bozeman 5 years ago, after completing a term of services with AmeriCorps in Helena. Her day job is in the College of Agriculture at Montana State University, and her night job is providing snuggles to her cat and dog. She fell in love with barre in 2019 and was excited to take the leap to become a barre instructor this year.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    I love the community, positivity, and opportunity to shake it out in a supportive space. The creative workouts keep me engaged and I always leave energized and exhausted.

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    I love any song I can sing along to, but I’m partial to Taylor Swift- keep an eye out for some Taylor themed classes from me ;)

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    I’m a big fan of Seated Extension for thigh and Fonda for seat.

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?

    I’m camping and hiking whenever I can. I love to cross stitch, read, and hang out with friends and my S.O., Andrew, and our cat and dog, Cass and Riley.

    Born and raised in the South (Roll Tide!) but drawn to the mountains of the Western US, Abbey moved to Montana after a job opportunity in Bozeman presented itself to her. After living in a camper with her husband traveling across the country, the opportunity to settle down in Bozeman felt like the next right step. Abbey received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Alabama and later earned a Master’s degree at Birmingham’s Physician Assistant program. Abbey is a surgery/trauma PA and loves being in the operating room assisting in surgery or helping trauma patients recover. While she maintains a deep love and appreciation for the South, she is proud to be able to raise her own little family in Big Sky Country.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    What I love about Sōl is the authenticity of the community. I knew this was the studio for me when I found myself laughing with other clients during the burn and shake of class! It is always a fun and challenging way to move and strengthen my body.

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    I’m a sucker for good beats and clever lyrics: Hozier, Sylvan Esso, Mumford & Sons, T-swift (there I said it).

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    I really love any variation of a good squat, lunge, bridge or chair. Anything that challenges me physically and mentally I am down for.

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    When not at Sōl, I’m usually doing something outside with my little family and our goofy dog: hiking, camping, skiing, exploring the national parks or catching a good concert. I love good food and a stellar dining experience really does it for me. I love to travel and am typically always dreaming about what trip I can plan up next! I have been blessed with a beautiful daughter and I love experiencing new things through her eyes.

    McKenna was born and raised in Great Falls and moved to Bozeman in 2016 to pursue her undergraduate degree in Psychology and minor in Sociology at Montana State University. She completed her Master’s in Social Work from Walla Walla University-Billings this past summer and is currently pursuing her hours towards licensure and working as a Social Worker at the Cancer Center and Cancer Support Community. She fell in love with barre fitness in 2017 and became a certified instructor in 2019. She believes that teaching and taking barre classes is the perfect supplement to her career and personal, holistic wellness goals as well as excellent physical rehabilitation for her ongoing knee and pelvic injuries. She loves how being a part of the Sōl barre staff and community allows all aspects of her passions and values to connect.

    I love the challenging and creative Sōl barre classes + the opportunity to sweat and connect with amazing community members and staff.

    Every day is a Lady Gaga day

    Wide 2nd or Seated Extension & Seated Pretzel (just let me be on the floor! haha)

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?

    Spending time with my large extended family including my sisters, niece and nephews, fiancé Andy, and fur babies Ruby Sue (dog), Willie (cat), and Draco (tortoise); Ice cream, brunch, and girls’ nights with friends; Watching Friends or a Netflix murder documentary; Traveling; and obsessively organizing every aspect of my life.

Natalie Bosley

    Natalie is from Great Falls, MT and is currently a junior at Montana State University with an undecided major. She graduated from CMR High School where she was a three sport athlete and played volleyball, basketball, and track. She now works the front desk at Sōl Barre!

    What do you love about Sōl?
    I love that Sōl has such a welcoming, fun, and judge-free environment. There is no such thing as a bad workout at Sōl!

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    Definitely Justin Bieber! #Bieberfever

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    My favorite thigh exercise is parallel hip width, and my favorite seat exercise is seated pretzel!

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?

    When I’m not at the studio, I love going on walks, doing my homework, reading a good romance book, going to bobcat games, and going to Bible studies!

    Emily was born and raised in Kalispell, MT. She attended the University of Montana before moving to Reno, NV with her husband. After having her son, she moved back to Montana to be closer to family, and found her home in Bozeman five years ago. She currently works full time at a local credit union in addition to working at Sōl! She loves that both of her jobs focus on the Bozeman community.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    I love my co-workers at Sōl, and the fun, caring environment we have as a team and with our members.

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    Taylor Swift always gets me shaking!

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    All the thighs kill me, but I love Semi-Foldover and Fonda for seat! (aka Mermaid)

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    I tend to spend most of my free time hanging with my husband and son. We love to go to local parks, the Museum of the Rockies, watch movies, sewing, and doing arts and crafts!

    A fifth generation Montanan, Shelby was born and raised in Helena, Montana and moved to Bozeman in 2015 to pursue a bachelor's degree in Community Health at MSU. Soon after receiving her Bachelor's degree, she discovered her love for design and hospitality management. She currently manages her and fiances two small cabins nestled between Bozeman & Gallatin Gateway!

    What do you love about Sōl?
    Sōl is a space where I’m able to hone in on being intentional with myself and to check-in with my body. It’s also a space where I feel like I can let go and stay in the now!

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    Anything with a great beat!

    What are your favorite thigh & seat exercises?
    Do I have to choose just one? Wide-2nd and Fonda!

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    In my free time you can find me exploring the mountains with my adorable pups and husband, backpacking, camping, cooking, gardening, and hanging out at one of the many lakes around Montana.

    Originally from Dallas, Texas, we’re so happy this southern sweetheart joined us up north at Sōl. Hunter is Junior at Montana State University, pursuing a degree in Business Marketing. She hopes to work in the marketing department for an NFL or NBA team. Along with working at Sōl, she also is a marketing intern for Bobcat Athletics, so you’ll always see her on the sidelines on game day.

    What do you love about Sōl?
    I love how everyone at Sōl is so welcoming! Sōl is such a welcoming environment every time you walk through the door. The community I’ve met at Sōl is absolutely amazing and incredibly positive.

    Who is your go-to artist to shake to?
    Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Niki Minaj definitely have me shaking and singing along!

    What are you doing when you're not at Sōl?
    I am most likely working on my company, Greek It Chic It! We are a game day accessory business that I started in July 2023, inspired by my southern game day style and love of working game days at MSU.
